The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:

WHAT:          SC Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame -- Induction Ceremony for Meritorious Achievement in Law Enforcement (Eight law enforcement officers to be inducted into the Hall of Fame).

Nominees for this honor must have a proven record of excellence, especially to South Carolina law enforcement as a whole. They must have 25 years minimum of law enforcement service.               

The nominees are represented by the following agencies: Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Police Department, South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, South Carolina Department of Corrections, South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, South Carolina Highway Patrol, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and York County Sheriff’s Office.

WHEN:          2 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2022

WHERE:       SC Criminal Justice Academy Gymnasium, 5400 Broad River Road, Columbia

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety includes the Highway Patrol, State Transport Police, Bureau of Protective Services, Office of Highway Safety and Justice Programs, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame.
