Media Advisory: Thanksgiving Travel Breaks
COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces:
Who: SC Highway Patrol Community Relations Officers
What: Troopers hold Thanksgiving holiday travel breaks when the public and media can speak with troopers, learn about
safe travel and view safety demonstrations.
When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. -- November 27th

There were 12 deaths on South Carolina roadways during the Thanksgiving holiday travel period in 2018. The Department of Public Safety reminds motorists to drive safely, take frequent breaks and call *HP (*47) if they need assistance or wish to report an aggressive driver.
