Haz-Mat/Level VI Team

These officers are some of the most highly trained in the field of hazardous materials, radioactive materials and transuranic waste regulations. This unit helps to ensure companies and their drivers meet state and federal safety standards, while transporting hazardous or radioactive material within our state.

Motor Carrier Compliance (MCC) Unit

Officers of this unit travel to companies throughout the state conducting safety audits of their commercial motor vehicle (CMV) fleets and driver information, while analyzing company information to ensure compliance with safety regulations designated by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

DRIVE Team

These officers work throughout the state conducting high visibility enforcement in high crash corridors with a focus on traffic enforcement, criminal drug interdiction, and human trafficking.
