COLUMBIA — The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of four people killed on South Carolina roadways during the Christmas Day travel period beginning Friday, December 23, at 6:00 p.m. until Monday, December 26, at 11:59 p.m. In comparison to last year, the South Carolina Department of Public Safety announced a preliminary number of 13 people killed on South Carolina roadways during the 2021 Christmas Day travel period.
